Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using the platform. This is a legally binding agreement between you and HunarHub.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are published by HunarHub Internet Pvt. Ltd. ("HunarHub", "Company", "we", "us"). By visiting or using HunarHub.in ("Platform"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please stop using the Platform and delete your account if applicable.

Deemed Acceptance Using the Platform — browsing, registration, sending an inquiry, or any other interaction — will be deemed acceptance of these Terms, whether or not you explicitly clicked "I Agree".

2. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must meet the following conditions:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are in India or a country where the platform is legally accessible
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under these Terms
  • No previous HunarHub account of yours has been terminated due to a Terms violation
  • For professionals: the service you are listing is legal under Indian law
Minors (Under 18) Users under the age of 18 are not permitted to use the platform. If a minor creates an account with a false age declaration, HunarHub may immediately terminate the account. Parents and guardians are responsible if minors access the platform on their devices.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Creation

Account registration is required to create a professional listing. By registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information — your real name, phone number, and service details
  • Keep information up-to-date — outdated details mislead clients
  • Use the account only for yourself — you may not create listings on behalf of others without their explicit permission
  • One account per person — multiple accounts are strictly prohibited
3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for the security of your account:

  • Use a strong password and keep it confidential
  • Do not share your account with anyone
  • Report any unauthorised access immediately to security@hunarhub.in
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
3.3 Phone Verification

Phone number verification is mandatory for professional listings. Verified numbers earn the "Verified" badge and improve search ranking. Using a fake or someone else's phone number is a Terms violation.

4. Professional Listing Rules

If you are listing as a professional, the following rules apply:

What You CAN Do

  • List your real name and accurate profession
  • Upload your own actual portfolio and work samples
  • Set honest and transparent pricing
  • Accurately set your availability
  • Interact with clients in a professional manner
  • List multiple services within your plan limits
  • Respond promptly to reviews and inquiries

What You CANNOT Do

  • Use a fake name, photo, or credentials
  • Upload copied portfolio photos
  • Post or arrange false reviews
  • Maliciously report a competitor's profile
  • Use the platform to promote illegal services
  • Redirect clients outside the platform
  • Impersonate other professionals
4.1 Quality Standards

HunarHub reserves the right to maintain platform quality. We may remove or suspend a listing in the following cases:

  • Consistent negative reviews (average below 3.0 stars)
  • Multiple validated client complaints
  • Unresponsive profile (no activity for 90 days)
  • Outdated or misleading information
4.2 Category Restrictions

The following types of services may not be listed on HunarHub:

  • Illegal activities (drug dealing, gambling, arms, etc.)
  • Adult content or escort services
  • Fraudulent financial services
  • Unlicensed medical treatment
  • Piracy or counterfeit goods
  • Discriminatory services

5. Client Usage Rules

If you are using the platform as a client:

  • Contact professionals respectfully
  • Send only genuine inquiries — no spam or fake inquiries
  • Write honest reviews — only after an actual experience
  • Keep professionals' personal contact information confidential
  • Do not scrape platform data or conduct bulk harvesting
  • Do not harass or threaten professionals
  • Do not write false negative reviews on competitors' behalf
  • Do not sell or misuse professionals' contact information
Transactions and Disputes HunarHub is not a party to any transaction between a client and a professional. Payment, service quality, and disputes must be resolved directly between the two parties. HunarHub is not liable for any financial dispute.

6. Prohibited Conduct

These activities are strictly prohibited for all users and may result in immediate account termination:

Law Enforcement Cooperation HunarHub fully cooperates with Indian law enforcement agencies. In cases of serious violations — fraud, threats, or illegal content — we notify the relevant authorities immediately and provide required data.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Content

When you upload any content to HunarHub (profile photo, portfolio images, about text, services, reviews):

  • Ownership of the content remains yours
  • You grant HunarHub a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the platform
  • This license remains valid as long as your content is on the platform
  • HunarHub does not sell your content to any advertiser
7.2 Content Warranties

By uploading content, you guarantee that:

  • The content is your original work or you have the right to use it
  • The content does not violate any third party's copyright, trademark, or privacy rights
  • The content is not defamatory, obscene, or illegal
7.3 HunarHub's IP

HunarHub's name, logo, website design, code, and original content are the intellectual property of HunarHub Internet Pvt. Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use them commercially without written permission.

7.4 Copyright Complaints

If you believe your copyrighted content is being used on HunarHub without permission, please submit a DMCA/copyright complaint to legal@hunarhub.in. We will investigate within 72 hours.

8. Payments & Billing

8.1 Plan Structure

HunarHub offers three plans — Free, Pro (₹99/month), and Elite (₹299/month). For a detailed feature comparison, see the Pricing page. Prices may change at any time — registered users will be given 30 days' prior notice.

8.2 Subscription & Auto-Renewal
  • Paid plans auto-renew until you cancel
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Upon cancellation, you shift to the Free plan
  • No prorated refund on yearly plan cancellation (except within the 7-day grace period)

8.4 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Razorpay. HunarHub does not store your card or bank details. All transactions are PCI DSS compliant. 18% GST is applicable and is included in the total amount shown.

Important: HunarHub's platform plan payments and payments made directly by clients to professionals are entirely separate matters. HunarHub is not involved in any professional-client transaction.

9. Disclaimers & Warranties

Platform is "As-Is" The HunarHub platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without any express or implied warranty.

HunarHub specifically does not guarantee:

  • That the platform will always be available or error-free
  • The service quality, skills, or credentials of listed professionals
  • The successful outcome of professional-client transactions
  • The accuracy of user-generated content (reviews, profiles)
  • The completeness of search results or ranking fairness

HunarHub is a neutral directory platform — we only connect professionals and clients. We are not responsible for any agreement, payment, or service delivery between the two parties.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HunarHub and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable in the following circumstances:

  • For any financial dispute between a client and a professional
  • Business loss due to platform downtime or technical failures
  • Defamation or reputation damage arising from user-generated content
  • Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any nature
  • Actions of third-party services (WhatsApp, Razorpay)

Maximum liability cap: HunarHub's maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to HunarHub in the preceding 3 months. For Free plan users, this cap is ₹0.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Informal Resolution First

For any dispute or complaint, please first contact our support team at support@hunarhub.in. We resolve most issues amicably within 30 days.

11.2 Arbitration

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes will be resolved through arbitration under the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Arbitration will be held in New Delhi, conducted in English or Hindi.

11.3 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, excluding conflict of law principles. Exclusive jurisdiction for any court proceedings shall lie with the courts of New Delhi.

11.4 Class Action Waiver

You agree not to participate in any class action, collective, or representative lawsuit against HunarHub. All claims must be resolved individually.

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You can delete your account at any time via Dashboard → Settings → Danger Zone. After deletion, your profile and data are removed within 30 days (except tax and legal records which must be retained for 7 years).

12.2 Termination by HunarHub

HunarHub may suspend or terminate an account without prior notice in the following cases:

  • Material violation of these Terms
  • Fraud, misrepresentation, or illegal activity
  • Repeated client complaints
  • Platform abuse or spam
  • Court order or law enforcement request

No refund will be issued for paid plans in cases of Terms violation. In reasonable termination cases, a prorated refund may be considered.

12.3 Effect of Termination

After termination: your profile will be removed from public visibility, you will lose access to the Platform. However, provisions of these Terms that are intended to survive termination (liability limits, IP provisions, governing law) will remain in effect.

13. Changes to Terms

HunarHub reserves the right to update these Terms. For any changes, we will:

  • Send email notifications to registered users (7 days for minor changes, 30 days for major changes in advance)
  • Update the "Effective Date" and "Last Updated" dates
  • Show an in-app banner for major changes
  • Keep the previous version in our archive

Continued use of the Platform after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree, please delete your account within the notice period.
